The father of the late Ebony Reigns, Starboy Kwarteng, has revealed that there was something very unusual about Ebony as a child

According to him, this unusual thing he saw about his daughter made him know from the beginning that she was going to be great in the future.

The unusual thing, Starboy Kwarteng revealed, had to do with Ebony’s taste for gold even as a young child.


He explained that the late singer’s ears only allowed for earrings made of gold and nothing else.

According to him, since her ears were pierced at birth, Ebony wore only gold earrings, adding that she cried and rejected anything not made of gold.

Even if the parents forced to give her anything but a gold earring, her ears would rot until the earrings were replaced, Ebony’s father said.

And this was why he agreed for her to abandon school at SHS 2 to start her music career.

Ebony’s father, known as Nana Poku Kwarteng in real life, has professed so much love for her even after her sad death.

Recently, during her first death anniversary, he cried and wished that February 8 would be taken out of time.

The rising diva sadly died in a tragic accident in 2018, bringing to an abrupt end her flourishing career.
