Nigerian man shot in the head by a fellow Nigerian in South Africa for 'not knowing where weed is sold'

Tony Elochukwu, a Nigerian from Nnobi, Anambra State, has been killed by an unidentified gunman in South Africa.

His death was confirmed by Prince Ben Okoli, President of the Nigerian Citizens Association in South Africa in a letter to the Consular-General, Nigerian Consulate in Johanesburg.

As it stands now, three Nigerians have been killed between April 6 and April 9 at different locations in the country.

In his letter, Okoli lamented the death and incessant killings of Nigerians in South Africa, saying:

“We received yet again the sad news of the death of another Nigerian in Witbank Mpumalanga province. Mr Tony Elochukwu from Nnobi Anambra State was shot twice in the head by an unidentified Nigerian gunman on April 24 at around 2:45pm."

Okoli said that a lone Nigerian man walked to some Nigerians at a restaurant and inquired from them where to get some weed to smoke, but they told him that they did not know where since they do not smoke. He said the man then pulled out his gun and shot Elochukwu on the head and sped off in a car parked down the street.

He added that a case of murder had been opened at the police station by NICASA Chairman in Mpumalanga, Obeji Chukwuma.

“This look like another case of Nigerian killing one another. This ugly trend of Nigerians killed by fellow Nigerians is on the increase and is disturbing to our community. NICASA is deeply worried over the death and continued killings of our citizens in South Africa. People are worried and scared, since none of the perpetrators had been arrested or charged over it.  He appealed to the consulate to pressure the South African police to pursue the case of death of any Nigerian with seriousness.

“The South African police must stop attempting to encourage this killings by lack of investigation and prosecution with aim of bringing to justice every criminal involved in these heinous crimes,” he said.

Angry wife kills husband for adding porn channel to their cable TV subscription

Patricia Hill, 69, a woman from Arkansas, United States, ‘flew into a rage’ and killed her husband after seeing that a pornography channel had been added to their satellite television subscription.

She is currently standing trial for capital murder in the death of her husband, Frank Hill, 65, who was found dead at their home.

Prosecutors told a Jefferson County courtroom that the woman had previously cancelled the X-rated channel on two previous occasions, and fatally shot her spouse when she discovered he had subscribed to the service once again.

She is accused of confronting Hill in a shed he had set up as a ‘man cave’ at the back of their house.  She then allegedly went to retrieve a .22-caliber pistol before returning to the shed and shooting him dead. The victim was found by authorities with gunshot wounds to his leg and head. A subscription TV bill was discovered on the couple’s living room floor, according to Daily Mail UK.

Woman wakes up after 27 years in a coma

A woman from the United Arab Emirates, UAE, who went into a coma after she was injured in an accident in 1991 has woken up from the 27-year-long coma.

Munira Abdulla was 32 when she was involved in an accident. She was in a car driven by her brother-in-law after she picked up her son from school.

During the short journey, the car she was travelling in collided with a bus. Omar Webair, who was then just four years old, was sitting in the back of the vehicle with his mother but he was unscathed because his mother cradled him in her arms moments before the accident.

Munira suffered a severe brain injury which left her in a coma and she was admitted in the hospital.

Fortunately, she has made a seemingly miraculous recovery after she regained consciousness last year in a German hospital.

In a recent interview with the UAE-based newspaper, The National, Munira's son, Omar, opened up about the accident and about his mother's progress following years of treatment.

Omar told the newspaper on Monday: "I never gave up on her because I always had a feeling that one day she would wake up."

He added: "The reason I shared her story is to tell people not to lose hope on their loved ones; don't consider them dead when they are in such a state.

"My mother was sitting with me in the back seat. When she saw the crash coming, she hugged me to protect me from the blow."

Omar told of how his mother was left untreated for hours after the accident. She was eventually taken to hospital and later transferred to London. There, she was declared to be in a vegetative state but able to sense pain, The National reports.

She was then returned to Al Ain, a city in the UAE on the border with Oman where she lived, and moved to various medical facilities according to insurance requirements. She remained there for a few years, fed through a tube and kept alive. She underwent physiotherapy to ensure her muscles would not weaken through lack of movement.

In 2017, the family was offered a grant by the Crown Prince Court, a government body in Abu Dhabi, for Ms Abdulla to be transferred to Germany. There, she underwent a number of surgeries to correct her severely shortened arm and leg muscles, and she was given medication to improve her state, including her wakefulness.

A year later, Omar was involved in an argument in his mother's hospital room, which seemed to prompt his mother to stir, BBC reports.

"There was a misunderstanding in the hospital room and she sensed I was at risk, which caused her a shock," Omar said.

"She was making strange sounds and I kept calling the doctors to examine her, they said everything was normal.

"Then, three days later, I woke up to the sound of someone calling my name.

"It was her! She was calling my name, I was flying with joy; for years I have dreamt of this moment, and my name was the first word she said."

She became more responsive, and can now feel pain and have some conversations. Munira is also now able to have conversations with her family

She has returned to Abu Dhabi, where she is undergoing physiotherapy and further rehabilitation.

Soldiers have pointed guns at me because I spoke against a government- Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has revealed that military men have threatened her with guns in the past for speaking against past governments.

The 41-year-old disclosed this in an interview with Guarduan while reacting to the backlash received after saying the Buhari-led government has made life ‘hellish’ for Nigerians.

“I’m not overwhelmed by the reactions, especially the negative ones. I expected them. These ones were just talk. I faced bullets before. I faced military men pointing guns at me, and so, the negative reactions were nothing to me. And why would I want to ruffle any nest? Who doesn’t want to hide his or her head? Do you know that when I had cause to speak up against previous governments, I was attacked? Not by words alone.

“But my business, my personal life, my finances were attacked. It is not something I enjoy doing, but sometimes, I worry too like every other normal human being. I worry for my safety. I worry for the safety of people around me,” she said.

Recall that early this month, Omotola took to her twitter handle to condemn President Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, saying that life for most Nigerians under the administration had become ''Hellish''.

Wives killers on rampage in the US.

Not every man can take the disappointing and humiliation from NIgeria wives imported to America. Wives killers on rampage in the US.

An Epidemic: Nigerian Men Killing Their Nurse Wives In America "Yes, I have killed the woman that messed up my life; the woman that has destroyed me. I am at Shalom West. My name is David and I am all yours.” Those were David Ochola’s words during his 911 (U.S. Emergency Number) call to authorities after shooting dead, his 28 years old wife, Priscilla Ochola, in Hennepin, Minnesota.

The 50-years old, husband was tired of being “disrespected” by his wife, a Registered Nurse (RN) whom he had brought from Nigeria and sponsored through nursing school only to have her make much more than him in salary - a situation which led to Mrs. Ochola “coming and going as she chose without regard for her husband.”

The couple had two children – four years old boy and a three year old girl.

In Texas, Babajide Okeowo had been separated from his wife, Funke Okeowo, with whom he resided at their Dallas home. Upon the divorce, the husband lost the house to his wife, along with most of the contents therein, as is usually the tradition in the U.S. Divorces where the couple still has underage children.

Mr. Okeowo, 48, divorced his wife because not long after she became an RN and made more money than him, she “took control” of the family finances and “controlled” her husband’s expenditure and movement.
The husband could no longer make any meaningful contribution to his family back in Nigeria unless the wife “approved” it. He could not go out without her permission. Frustrated that his formerly malleable wife had suddenly become such a “terror” to him to the point of asking for in court and getting virtually everything for which he had worked since coming to the US thirty years prior, the husband got in his vehicle and drove a few hundred miles to Dallas to settle the scores.

He found her in her SUV, adorned in full Nigerian attire on her way to the birthday bash organized in her honor. She had turned 46 on that day. Mr. Okeowo fired several rounds into his wife’s torso while she sat at the steering wheel, mercilessly killing her in broad daylight.

Also in Dallas (they sure need anger management classes in Dallas), Moses Egharevba, 45, did not even bother to get a gun. The husband of Grace Egharevba, 35, bludgeoned her to death with a sledge hammer while their seven year old daughter watched and screamed for peace.

Mrs. Egharevba’s “sin” was that she became an RN and started to make more money than her husband. This led to her “financial liberation” from a supposedly tight-fisted husband who had not only brought her from Nigeria, but had also funded her nursing school education.

Like Moses Egharevba, Christopher Ndubuisi of Garland, Texas, (these Texas people!) also did not bother to get a gun. He crept into the bedroom where his wife, Christiana, was sleeping and, with several blows of the sledge hammer, crushed her head.

Two years before Christiana was killed, her mother, who had been visiting from Nigeria, was found dead in the bathtub under circumstances believed to be suspicious.

Of course, Christiana was a RN whose income dwarfed that of her husband as soon as she graduated from nursing school. The husband believed that his role as a husband and head of the household had been usurped by his wife.
Mr. Ndubuisi’s several entreaties to his wife’s family to intercede and bring Christiana back under his control had all failed.

If the circumstances surrounding the death of Christiana’s mother were suspicious, those surrounding the death of a Tennessee woman’s mother were not. Agnes Nwodo, an RN, lived in squalor before her husband, Godfrey Nwodo, rescued her and brought her to the US. He enrolled her in nursing school right away. Upon qualifying as a RN, Mrs. Nwodo assumed “full control” of the household. She brought her mother to live with them against her husband’s wishes. Mrs. Nwodo quickly familiarized herself with US Family Laws and took full advantage of them.
Each time the couple argued, the police forced the husband to leave the house whether he had a place to sleep or not. On many occasions, Mr. Nwodo spent days in police cells. Upon divorcing his wife, Mr. Nwodo lost to his wife, the house he had owned for almost 20 years before he married her.

He also lost custody of their three children to her, with the court awarding him only periodic visitation rights. Even seeing the children during visitation was always a hassle as the wife would “arrive late at the neutral meeting place and leave early with impunity.”

Mr. Nwodo endured so many embarrassing moments from his wife and her mother until he could take it no more. One day, he bought himself a shotgun and killed both his wife and her mother.

Caleb Onwudike’s wife, Chinyere Onwudike, 36, became a RN and no longer saw the need to be controlled by her husband. Mr. Onwudike, 41, worked two jobs to send his wife to her dream school upon bringing her to the US from Nigeria. After four years, she qualified as an RN. Once she started to make more money than her husband, she began to “call the shots” at home. She “overruled” her husband on the size and cost of the house they purchased in Burtonsville, Maryland. She began to build a house solely in her name in their native Umuahia town of Abia State, Nigeria, without her husband’s input whatsoever.

Mrs. Onwudike came and went “as she liked,” within the US and outside the US. In fact, she once travelled to Nigeria for three weeks “without her husband’s permission” to lavishly bury her father, despite her husband’s protestations that they had better things to do with the money.
Mrs. Onwudike let her husband know that this was mostly her money and she would spend it however she wanted. Through her hard work, she had risen to a managerial position at the medical center where she worked.

Upon her return from burying her father, her husband got one of her kitchen knives and carved her up like a Thanksgiving turkey inside their home on New Year’s Day.

Death is death, no matter how it comes. But the goriest of these maniacal killings is probably the one that happened here in Los Angeles, California.
Joseph Mbu, 50, was tired of his RN wife’s “serial disrespect” of him. The disrespect began as soon as she became a RN. Gloria Mbu, 40, had once told her husband he must be “smoking crack cocaine” if he thought he could tell her what to do with her money now that she made more money than him.

Before she became a RN, Mr. Mbu had been very strict with family finances and was borderline dictatorial in his dealings with Mrs. Mbu. However, Mrs. Mbu learned the American system and would no longer allow any man to “put her down.” When Joseph Mbu could not take it anymore, he subdued his wife one day, tied her to his vehicle and dragged her on paved roads all around Los Angeles until her head split in many pieces.

UAE Sentences Eight Nigerians To Death Over At Least Four 'Highly Organised' Robberies In 2016

Eight Nigerians have been sentenced to death in the United Arab Emirates for "a string of robberies at money exchanges and cash machines".

Twenty suspects were arrested for attacking security guards in four incidents of violence at Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and money exchanges across Sharjah in late 2016. Nine of the suspects were convicted.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Nigeria's Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, confirmed it on Friday in a statement describin the death sentence as "unfortunate". She also expressed concern over the development, stating that the incident is not an actual description of personalities of people of Nigeria.

"It is an unfortunate incident, but it is not an incident that defines who we are as a people," she said.

"If a few Nigerians have committed a crime for which they are being punished, thousands of Nigerians are doing great in that same country and are being appreciated and celebrated. Mr President, who meets Nigerians every time he goes on official trips outside the country, always appeals to Nigerians to be good ambassadors wherever they are.

“I must commend millions of our brothers and sisters excelling all over the world. Bad news travels fast and I appeal to the media to help spread the good news about Nigerians and not concentrate only on the once in a while negative stories."

Two UAE newspapers Gulf News and Khaleej Times reported the trial, but neither revealed the identities of the convicted Nigerians.

However, in its report, Gulf News said a ninth man was sentenced to six months followed by deportation for possession of stolen money. He denied the charge against him and said that one of the accused’s brothers asked him to transfer Dh60,000 to an account in his home country.

A total of 20 suspects were initially held for attacking security guards in four violent attacks at ATMs and money exchanges across Sharjah in late 2016. Out of 20 suspects, nine were convicted.

The verdict was handed down by Judge Majid Al Muhairi of Sharjah Criminal Court on Wednesday.

The paper said the eight-member gang attacked security trucks and entered establishments by force and threatened and assaulted staff and members of the public with bladed weapons in a spate of robberies, three of which were carried out in the same day on December 18, 2016.

The gang — who were all in the UAE on visit visas — were said to be highly organised and plotted a string of orchestrated attacks to ambush security trucks that were transporting money boxes to and from ATMs, and at least one money exchange in Sharjah.

The first robbery took place at a Dubai Commercial Bank ATM on King Abdul Aziz Street where Dh340,000 was stolen, then two days later they attacked an ATM in Al Safeer Mall in Al Nahda fleeing with Dh700,000, and an ATM in Muweilah where they stole Dh710,000. A fourth attack at a money exchange office near National Paints was foiled by Police.

The gang of 20 were arrested in record time but Police confirmed that only a portion of the stolen money — almost Dh1.8 million — had been recovered, as the gang members had divided the money among themselves and transferred it to their home country.

The development comes roughly three weeks after the Police in UAE said they had arrested five Nigerians who "stormed a money exchange in Sharjah and fled with Dh2.3 million".

Pastor apologises for an "inappropriate" Easter lesson where he urged students to spit on him, slap him and cut him with a steak knife

A church in Ohio is apologizing for an "inappropriate" Easter lesson in which a pastor urged students to spit on him, slap him and cut him with a steak knife.

Impact City Church lead pastor Justin Ross and part-time associate pastor Jaddeus Dempsey went on Facebook to publicly apologize to students who were part of the unusual after-school activity Monday.

Dempsey was leading a group of middle and high school students who were part of the church's weekly "After School Student Hangouts" when he decided to share his message with students about Easter, in a way which he later said, "crossed the line".

"Jaddeus got up in front of the students and he said, 'I'm going to ask you to do something that might seem a little crazy, but if there's anyone here that would like to spit in my face, you can do so without any repercussions,' " Ross said on social media, describing the event.

Some students took him up on his offer. Then, he told them they could slap him. Several did. Finally, Dempsey pulled out a steak knife and set the same conditions. One student took the knife and sliced his back.

Students pulled out their phones and began posting on social media. Videos of that day show the students lining up before the pastor and taking turns spitting on his face while others laugh.

The illustration went too far, Ross said. "the reactions are appropriate," Ross said. "Many of you were disgusted, many of you were hurt by this, many of you were very confused." Even though the activity was inappropriate, he said, the "intent was honorable."

After letting them spit, slap and cut him, Dempsey sat students down and talked to them about Jesus, his trial and crucifixion and how he was "beaten, he was broken, he was whipped, he was crucified and he died as an innocent man," Ross said.

Ross said the church does not condone that students or anyone should spit or slap others, or "use a weapon to harm anyone or to harm themselves."

Court Sacks Ebonyi Senator Ogbuoji For Defecting From PDP To APC, Asks Him To Refund Salaries

The Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki has declared the Ebonyi South Senatorial District seat being occupied by Sonni Ogbuoji vacant and ordered him to vacate the seat immediately.

The judgment was delivered on Thursday by Justice Akintola Aluko of the Abakaliki Division of the court.

Delivering a 71-page judgement, Justice Aluko held that that Ogbuoji, who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2018, flouted Section 68(1)g of the 1999 Constitution.

The said section 68 (1)g bars elected lawmakers from defecting to another party except if the party on whose platform they were elected is divided or in crisis

The court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return issued to the senator and to conduct a fresh election to fill the seat.

Also, the court ordered the lawmaker to refund to the coffers of government all monies, be it salaries, allowances or any order form of payment, he may have received as benefits from the position from the date of his defection.

The judgement was in respect of suit number FHC/AI/CS/44/2018 filed by Evo Ogbonnaya Anegu, Oti Ama Ude, Uche Richard Ajali, Una Sunday Okoro and Simon Ajali Ogbadu for themselves and on behalf of the members of the PDP in Ebonyi South Senatorial District.

They had sued Ogbuoji and INEC (2nd defendant), asking the court to declare Ogbuoji’s seat vacant for defecting to the APC when there was no crisis or division in the PDP.

Reteirating the position of the law on the matter, the judge said: “Section 68 (1)g says that 'a member of Senate or House of Representatives shall vacate his seat in the house if being a person whose election to the house was sponsored by another political party'.

“The person shall vacate his seat if he becomes a member of another political party before the expiration of the period for which he was elected, provided that his membership of the latter political party is not as a result of a division in the political party, which he was previously a member or of a merger of two or more political parties or factions by one of which he was previously sponsored.

“In other words, any lawmaker who defects to another political party when the party under whose platform he was elected was not undergoing any form of crisis or was not part of a merger with two or more political parties shall vacate his seat."

The plaintiffs contended that Ogbuoji’s conduct, if not condemned, would encourage political prostitution and legislative rascality.

But in his defence, Ogbuoji claimed that he resigned his membership of the PDP and defected to APC on Jan. 27, 2017 and not January 2018 as claimed by the plaintiffs.

He also said that the crisis in the party was finally resolved in July 2017 by the Supreme Court but that before then, he had resigned his membership of the party via a letter he submitted to the PDP

Secretary of his Ebunwana Ward, Mrs Ragina Agwu, on Jan. 27, 2017.

However, the plaintiffs punctured Ogbuoji's defence by providing evidence that the said Agwu was not the secretary of the ward at the time the said letter was allegedly given to her.

The plaintiffs claimed Mrs Agwu was expelled by the party on January 23, 2017.

They also argued that Ogbuoji, who claimed to have defected from PDP to APC in January 2017, took active part in the non-elective and elective congresses of PDP in August and December 2017 as a delegate.

The court, in its findings, said there were discrepancies in the pieces of evidence provided by Ogbuoji, which, it maintained, rendered them unreliable and doubtful.

The judge said: “There is no basis to attach any probative or evidential value to the said exhibits," the judge said.

“What that means is that the defendant’s claim of resignation on January 2017 is shrouded in inconsistencies, contradictions and suspicion."

The court, therefore, held that the plaintiffs proved their case beyond reasonable doubt, “adducing credible evidence to establish that Ogbuoji defected to the APC in January 2018 and not January 2017 as he claimed in his defence.

“It is also said that at the time of defection, there was no division or faction in PDP to warrant such defection as permitted by section 68 (1)g of the constitution.

Therefore, giving his final verdict the Judge said: “By the evidence before me, I find that the 1st defendant is guilty of unholy political flirtation and coquetry which the makers and drafters of the constitution resolved to outlaw by the enactment of section 68(1)g of the constitution.

“Having failed to vacate his seat in the Senate, following his unconstitutional defection in a manner that suggests that he ate his cake and still wanted to have it, he is liable to be forced out and refund to the National Assembly.

“He is therefore to refund all monies in form of salaries, allowances, or whatsoever paid to him by virtue of his unconstitutional holding on to the position as a senator beginning from the date of his unconstitutional defection to date. Consequently, I hold that the case of the plaintiffs has merit and hereby succeeds.”

The court awarded the sum of N500,000 in favour of the plaintiffs.

Ogbuoji contested the 2019 governorship election in Ebonyi on the platform of APC and  lost to the incumbent Governor, David Umahi

Nigerian man reacts after his bride cancelled their wedding scheduled to hold this weekend

A Nigerian man, Marshal Bernard, has taken to his Facebook page to announce the cancellation of his wedding scheduled to hold this weekend after his bride-to-be called off the wedding over what he termed as ''irreconciliable differences''.

Bernard in his post apologised to all his friends and family members that might have made various plans to be at the wedding. Read what he wrote

WEDDING CANCELED!!

I was supposed to sugarcoat this, but I'd rather put it all out for your clarity and my sanity.

1. Today, Monday April 15, I was supposed to do a bulk SMS reminding everyone about my wedding this Saturday, April 20. But yesterday, Sunday, April 14, my bride canceled the wedding. Let's just chuck it up on 'irreconcilable differences.'

2. All efforts to get her to reconsider until 1am last night proved ineffective. I respect her decision, but I wept like a baby. I could have done the unthinkable at midnight yesterday, but there is someone in me, called the Holy Spirit. He wouldn't let me do that. Right now, I'm fine, believe me.

3. Part of the nightmare came from how I would be embarrassing the senior people in my life who I had invited to the wedding, some of who have already made financial commitments. The traditional rites would be holding this Thursday, April 18, and more than 85% of everything was in place for both the tradition and white wedding. Again, I wept like a toddler.

4. This is an apology to the general public which I have invited to the wedding, some of who have already bought gifts, made flight and hotel reservations, etc. I respect you enough to give this explanation. I am truly sorry for this mess. To my sponsors, I am sorry.

5. The bachelors' eve was scheduled for Friday night (6pm) tagged Night of Tongues. That will still hold. The brothers are fired up, and would still want to do it for me. It'll be an evening of tongues, made-in-Akwa-Ibom afang soup, and all the wine that was supposed to be used for the wedding. (All drinks had been bought). Venue is Delta Hotels, and it is open to females as well.

6. I will not be disabling the comments section, but I will not be answering questions here either.

7. "In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Kenyan student stabbed by her ex-boyfriend after she ended their relationship

Naomi Chepkemboi, a Third Year Public Health student at Pwani University, Kenya, was stabbed in the chest and neck by her ex-boyfriend Henry Kipkoech, who is a student at Kenyatta University, Nairobi.

Ms Chepkemboi says she left her boyfriend in December last year because he was “irresponsible”. The two have a 4-month old daughter together.

Speaking from her hospital bed in Kilifi County, Naomi Chepkemboi said Mr Kipkoech showed up at her rented room in Kilifi early Sunday, when he meted out the ugly attack on her.

“He came to my room at 6am, and knocked on my door. I peeped through the window, and saw him. I went back to bed because I did not want to open the door for him. He pleaded with me to open the door, saying he came with an aim of restoring peace between us,” Chepkemboi told Citizen Television on Monday.

“After much deliberation, I let him in. When we were done talking to each other, he rose and started walking out. I, thereafter, changed into my sleeping gown; and was in the process of locking the door, when he stormed in and locked the door from the inside,” said Chepkemboi.

Mr Kipkoech, thereafter, brandished three knives he had hidden in a paper bag and stabbed his victim in the chest and neck several times.

Doctors at Kilifi Hospital say Naomi Chepkemboi, who was taken to the facility by fellow students, is in a stable condition.

The victim recounts ending her 2-year relationship with the suspect in December last year.

“When I told him that I have moved on, he couldn’t believe it. I terminated my relationship with him because he wasn’t a responsible man. His parents helped me and the baby for only two months. After much thought, I saw it unwise to stick with him yet he wasn’t looking after his child. He was the type of a man who would forcefully take my money, when he found me in possession of some cash,” said Ms Chepkemboi.

A Kilifi court on Monday, April 15 granted the police eight days to detain Henry Kipkoech.

The suspect will undergo mental tests to ascertain his fitness to stand trial.

Mr Kipkoech told the court that he attacked his victim after she denied him access to their daughter.

Nnamdi Kanu to Atiku: Ask Buhari to go for a DNA test

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has decided to offer a legal advice to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Kanu who spoke on a live broadcast on Sunday, told Atiku to ask President Muhammadu Buhari, to go for a DNA test to prove his originality.

DNA test is a deoxyribonucleic acid that contains the genetic code and information of every single individual on earth.

His words, “I will offer free legal advice to Atiku live on air in the hope that they will use it because it is obvious Atiku won the election and APC are deploying all instruments of coercion at the disposal of the Nigerian state to deny him his mandate.

“Between Atiku and the man occupying Aso Rock, only Atiku is a Nigerian, the other is Sudanese. Atiku is not a Nigerian by birth but he is by choice, through referendum at the age of 15. But the other person is neither a Nigerian by birth nor by choice. Atiku should demand for Buhari’s DNA and if it turns out that the person in Aso rock is Buhari, I will drop my agitation immediate.

Recall that Buhari’s legal team had queried Atiku’s citizenship, and also told the election tribunal that Atiku is a Cameroonian and not Nigerian.

In view of the above, Kanu said, “the weak and porous argument Atiku’s defence team is making in response to this line of attack by APC, is to say that, ‘it is ludicrous to allege that a man who became Nigeria’s vice-president, who has lived, invested and paid tax in the country for years is not a citizen.

Speaking further he said, “This is a wholly unnecessary digression that failed to address the constitutional question of place of birth as key qualification for anybody seeking to become the president of Nigeria. That Atiku was the Vice President is not the issue at hand but rather his suitability as defined by the constitution of Nigeria.

“However,  APC putting up the argument in court is a “vindication that everything I say on Radio Biafra is the truth.

“It may appear outlandish and unbelievable at first, but eventually history always vindicate me. It is now over to Atiku’s team to unleash what they have against Jubril”, he continued.

Stephanie Coker cautions women trying to get plastic surgery to impress men who look like "Humpty Dumpty"

Stephanie Coker Aderinokan has some word for women who want to have plastic surgery in order to impress men.

The media personality said she is not opposed to women altering their looks but she advised that they do it for themselves and not to impress men who look like "Humpty Dumpty."

She wrote:

Although this was captured perfectly by renowned photographer @kelechiamadiobi This image Is not flawless and it has nothing to do with lighting, angles or the environment. It is because the subject herself is imperfect. I always wanted to keep this image in my closet room for my eyes only. Until last week when a friend said she was going to get a BBL. Now I am not opposed to one altering their looks, it is not my place to judge, however, I do find following such life threatening trends to grab the attention of others a bit risky. Especially when most men on this side of the world are walking around looking like Humpty Dumpty. There have been a handful of cases that I personally know of women who have lost their lives to plastic surgery.
I say all this to say, if you are going to get plastic surgery, please do it for yourself at least, and research the risks to your health and weigh up your options.

Lady goes into hiding as her husband and lover fight over her baby

One Mrs. Feyintola Babalola has gone into hiding after a legal paternity battle broke out between two men she engaged in secret romance in Lagos, according to a report by PmExpress.

The lady was said to have engaged her husband, Mr. Babalola, and her lover, Abiodun Ibrahim, in love affairs to the extent that they both had steady access to her, but did not know each other until recently.

Ibrahim was the first to meet and propose to marry Feyintola. They then got very intimate and she became pregnant for him but eventually opted for Babalola and got married to him.

All the while, she still maintained both relationships; secretly met both men, made them to believe that they were responsible for the pregnancy and they took care of her.

Trouble, however, started when she was delivered of the baby and Ibrahim visited to see his son, but ended up being arrested by Mr. Babalola, who accused him of raping and abducting his wife and the baby.

At the station, Ibrahim told the police that despite the fact that Feyintola was staying in Babalola’s house at Bola Street in Ebute Metta, Lagos, he was the one that impregnated her and both of them knew before she married. .

He explained to the police that before and after she put to bed, he had been taking care of her and the baby and only visited the place to see his newborn baby as the father.

He challenged both the police and Babalola to carry out a DNA test to know who owns the baby. However, the police still charged him before the Ebute Metta for rape and abduction.

The court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Inspector Miram Dauda, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice. Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Ajibade, ordered his remand in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP.
