Nigerian homosexuals are now the top asylum seekers in Canada - New Report

According to data received from the Refugee Protection Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, Nigerians are now the largest nationals seeking refugee status in Canada with 12,138 pending applications as of December 2018.

The Canadian authorities, however, pointed out that two out of every three Nigerian applicants claim to be victims of homophobic attacks. The Federal Government led by former President Goodluck Jonathan had in 2014 signed the Same Sex (Prohibition) Act which outlawed gay marriage and prescribed a prison term of 14 years for persons found guilty of such.

According to the RPD, which is in charge of hearing and deciding claims for refugee protection made in Canada, Nigeria has overtaken crisis-ridden Haiti which was number one the previous year. The total number of pending applications from across the world stood at 71,675 which implies that Nigeria represents about 17 per cent of total pending applications from amongst the over 170 countries.

Haiti comes a distant second with 6,811 pending applications while India has 5,175. Mexico has 3,525; Colombia, which ended a civil war barely three years ago, has 3,056 while China has 2,105. Jawad Kassab, who led the refugee and immigration programme at Legal Aid Ontario in 2017, said the agency had identified an unusual pattern in sexual orientation claims filed by Nigerian refugee seekers.

Kassab told CBC News that he was concerned that if claims were fabricated, refugees with legitimate claims might have a harder time getting the help they need.“ It galls me because of the potential impact it could have on the refugee system and the Canadian public’s perception of refugee claimants and refugees in a very vulnerable time globally,” he said.

Kassab said Legal Aid Ontario, which covers the legal costs for most refugee claims heard in the province, became suspicious after a routine review of refugee applications showed that 60 to 70 per cent of about 600 Nigerian claims made in Ontario since April 2017 were based on persecution because of sexual orientation.

The National Orientation Agency has therefore cautioned Nigerians against desperation while seeking asylum abroad, saying even though the body could not stop anyone from seeking better life somewhere, Nigerians should not do it by all means.

Here is Tonto Dikeh's reaction after her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill said he's a "tireless machine in bed" (Screenshots)

Tonto Dikeh has reacted after her ex-husband, Olakunle Oladunni Churchill said he's a "tireless machine in bed".

Recall the mother of one first alleged in an interview that her ex was suffering from premature ejaculation which makes him last only 40 seconds during sex.

While replying a fan who tried to create a banter on his IG post and alluded to him being a "40 seconds" man as his ex-wife alleged. He wrote:  "Of course not, don't be deceived. you cannot undermine an ex-military boy... I am a tireless machine during marathon."

Soon after, Tonto Dikeh took to her Instagram stories to mock him for his comments.

Nnamdi Kanu state the reason why Buhari left the country.

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari left the country to attend to his health.

The presidency had stated that Buhari left for Saudi Arabia following the invitation by King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the king of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

A statement by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, confirmed that President Buhari would perform the Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) while in the Kingdom.

In his latest broadcast, Kanu alleged that Buhari went for his “periodic” treatment.

He said’: “Jubril Al-Sudani the criminally imported impostor has recently returned from his surgery enhancement in the UK but unfortunately for them he did not travel with his make-up artist because anybody that saw his pictures as he disembarked from the aircraft will know there is something definitely wrong with Nigerians and their eyesight.

“Jubril is now looking as young as Yusuf his adopted son. Please take a look at the picture of the Sudanese most people ignorantly call Buhari to see how daft most Nigerians are. Please put that picture on my official Facebook wall and also share it extensively.

“Jubril went for his periodic bodywork & overhauling. He did so without official handover to Osinbajo as stipulated in their constitution but you have a country, seemingly full of intellectuals but rather populated with cowards who can longer see or hear any evil. This is the man they are planning to swear in on the 29th of this May with the knowledge that he is a confirmed certificate forgery.

“Verifiable evidence after evidence has been presented to the general public and the Judiciary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and her citizens on the forgery of Buhari’s certificate but they will still go ahead to swear him into office because Nigeria is not a country and can never be.

“The Nigerian Police the Legislative and the Executive arms of the government- all Fulanised, are all aware yet nothing is done to effect the legitimacy of the rule of law by enforcing the requirements of a military decree constitution they all swore to uphold. This is the type of country some people shamelessly wake up every morning to defend.”

Later on, she took to her Instagram account to explain that she made her ex-husband’s inabilities public because he first accused her of being on hard drugs.

“For me, I will drag your life from hell and back until I’m ok!! We all can’t be the same, you know.”

However, Churchill has now come up to describe himself as a tireless man in bed.

Responding to a fan on Instagram, who demanded to know if he was really a seconds man with ladies, Churchill said, “Of course not. Don’t be deceived, you cannot undermine an ex-military boy…. I am a tireless machine during marathon.”

Nigeria’s poverty level upsets me – Buhari

ABUJA – PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Monday night lamented the high level of poverty pervading in the country at the moment, saying that the situation makes him uncomfortable.

President Muhammadu Buhari speaking during the breaking of Ramadan fast with members of the federal executive council, service chiefs and heads of MDGs at the Presidential Banquet hall State House, Monday night in Abuja.

The president expressed his displeasure on the nation’s poverty rate when he played host to Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, the Ministers, Service Chiefs, Heads of Security Agencies and Chief Executives of Federal Government Agencies and Institutions to a breaking of fast at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He frowned at the inability of the Nigerian elites to address the welfare and educational needs of the less-privileged in the society.

R-L; Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, Chief of Staff Mallam Abba Kyari, President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo SAN and SGF Mr. Boss Mustapha during breaking of Ramadan fast with members of the federal executive council, service chiefs and heads of MDGs at the Presidential Banquet hall State House, Monday night in Abuja.
President Buhari who noted that too many people were running around unable to find something to eat, challenged the elite to do something very urgent to ameliorate the pathetic situation.

He stated that already Federal Government had introduced people friendly programmes like the School Feeding and `Trader Money’ to alleviate the hardship being experienced by the less-privileged individuals across the country.

He, therefore, commended the Vice-President for successfully managing the school feeding and `trader money’ programme.

According to him, “When I drive around the country what upset me very much is the status of our poor people in this country – you see young people, the so-called Almajiris with tore dresses, with plastic bowl. They are looking basically for what to eat.

“The question of education (to them) is a luxury. I think Nigerian elite we are all failing because I think we should have a programme that will at least guarantee some basic education for our people no matter how poor they are.

“So, I welcome the Vice-President initiate of the School feeding programme. If you check in your localities the enrolment into schools improved because a lot of children can get at least one good meal a day. This is the position of this country.

“But, culturally some of us are quiet merciless, we don’t care about what happen to others we just keep on moving forward.

“This `market money’ I warned the Vice-President I don’t like him to be mobbed, especially the way I see hefty women coming and confronting him, he should be very careful.

“These are very good initiates. Initially, I was quite reluctant but I must admit that they are very good programmes and they endear this government to a lot of poor people because of these N5,000 or N10,000 being given to them as loans.

“They are fantastic programmes and I have to admit quite honestly that the Vice-President was ahead of me by insisting on them.

“But he knows me if he insists I will say `okay go and do what you like.’ He did it and I’m very pleased as he is being very successful,’’ he said.

Speaking at the event, Vice-President Osinbajo, thanked the president for inviting them, both Muslims and Christians, to the breaking of fast with him.

He said that regardless of ethnic and religious affiliations Nigerians must continue to be their brothers’ keepers and must work towards building a united nation.

He, however, condemned some politicians, who were bent on dividing the people along ethno-religious lines.

On the Ramadan period, Osinbajo said: “Mr President I must say that there are some reasons I had always look forward to the Ramadan session. But some of those reasons are now being seriously challenged.

“The first of those reasons is that during the Ramadan meetings are usually very short. But, unfortunately last Wednesday Mr President seemed to have destroyed that very good notion by taking us through the longest FEC meeting in the history of the Federal Executive Council.

“So, we shouldn’t expect anymore that meeting will necessary be short during the Ramadan.

“The second is that some of my friends are far less troublesome during the Ramadan. People like Lai Mohammed, Abba Kyari, Adamu Adamu they are usually very well behaved during the Ramadan. But I’m not even sure that that is true anymore.

“So, I think that all we can truly expect now from the session is possibility what it was meant to do which is to remind us of some of our responsibilities to ourselves as brothers and to our fellow men/women especially our roles as leaders.

“I think it is auspicious that this particular Ramadan falls at the eve of the new term in office.

“So, it is an opportunity for us to remind ourselves over the core mandates which is the welfare and security of majority of our people,’’ he said.

Those, who joined the President for the fast-breaking meal known as Iftar, included some heads of federal government agencies and institutions.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority, Alhaji Yakubu Ibn Muhammed, and the Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Abdullahi Mukhtar, were among the dignitaries at the event.

Woman recounts how her father sexually abused her when she was 8 before going on the run for 25 years to avoid jail

A 44-year-old woman has told of how her father began sexually abusing her when she was 8 after her mother died of bowel cancer and left her in his care.

Nicola Kime, now 44, was just seven years old when her mother died. Her father Michael Evans, now 65, became her primary caregiver and he abused her for the next five years. She thought it was a normal thing between fathers and daughters. It wasn't until she was 13 and was talking to her school friend about sex that she realized other fathers didn't sexually abuse their kids.

The school friend she confided in alerted police and Evans was arrested and charged but he fled their home in Grantham, Lincolnshire before he could face a judge and remained on the run for 25 years. Kent Police discovered he’d changed his name by deed poll and his girlfriend Susan had reported him missing after he allegedly walked out without explanation, Metro reports.

Evans was eventually caught and jailed for 15 years after being found guilty of a string of sex offences against his daughter.

Nicola, now a mother-of-three, is speaking out about the abuse she suffered in the hands of her father.

She said: "Not only did Dad take away my childhood, he has stolen most of my life.

"For years, I was afraid of my own shadow, terrified that Dad would hunt me down. I’m so pleased that he’s faced justice now. It was worth the wait.

After Nicola lost her mum Ann, aged 33, and moved in with her dad and his girlfriend, it took just weeks before he preyed on her.

Nicola, of Spalding, Lincolnshire, said: "One night, he crept into my room while I was sleeping. He forced my legs open and touched me. Afterwards, I felt sick and confused.

"From then on, Dad forced me to watch him masturbate. It was horrible but I accepted that this is what fathers did to their little girls."

She said she dreaded whenever he’d creep into her room and recalled how he tried to rape her when she was just eight years old.

She said: "He snuck into my room and tried to force my legs open. But I clamped my legs together so he couldn’t hurt me. Thankfully he didn’t penetrate me but I was terrified of him. I felt sick. And refused to tell anyone about the abuse."

The abuse continued for years until she was talking about sex with a friend at school when she was 13 and asked how "often her dad did it to her".

Nicola said: "She looked so shocked and said that her dad had never done it to her. I felt confused. Dad had made it seem so normal.

"The next day, police and a social worker were waiting to speak to me at school, so she must have told someone. I revealed what happened and was taken to live with my mum’s sister. I finally felt free.

Evans was arrested and charged with attempted rape, indecent assault and indecency with a child but on the day he was due to appear in court for the trial, he never showed up and a manhunt was launched. Nicola said she lived most of her life in fear, terrified he’d come after her.

Nicola says: "Whenever I went out, I thought I’d bump into him or that he might be watching me. I became too scared to leave the house. Despite police searches, he’d simply vanished and as the years moved on, my hopes that he would be found died."

One morning in 2013, two police officers knocked on her door and told her they’d found her father. Nicola said she trembled and burst into tears, as police told her they were reviewing a missing person case into the disappearance of a woman called Susan in May 1988. She had left her husband and hadn’t been heard from since but police found she’d been living under a false name in Kent, with Nicola’s father.

Nicola's father was rearrested and in December 2014, Evans, of Margate, Kent, appeared at Lincoln Crown Court to stand trial. He was found guilty of two charges of attempted rape, six counts of indecent assault of a girl under 14, two counts of indecency with a child and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice at Lincoln Crown Court, Metro reports.

Speaking some years after her father’s conviction, Nicola said she was so pleased he was jailed and has finally been able to move forward with her life.

She said: "The fact that he ran from the police shows how scared he was. For years, I’ve felt like I’ve been running from my past. Now I’ve realised that I wasn’t to blame."

Breaking: HDP asks tribunal to stop Buhari’s swearing-in

ABUJA – The Hope Democratic Party, HDP, on Tuesday, filed a motion before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja for an order to restrain the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, from swearing-in President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29.

The party and its presidential candidate, Chief Ambrose Owuru, further applied for an order of the tribunal to restrain President Buhari from presenting himself on May 29 or any other date “for swearing in or inaugurate ceremony or taking the Oath of Allegiance and oath if office as the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, pending the determination of this petition and the question as to whether he has been validly elected as challenged and pending before the court”.

It will be recalled that HDP and its candidate are currently challenging the declaration of President Buhari as winner of the February 23 presidential election

In their petition marked CA/ PEPC/001/2019, the party, urged the tribunal to nullify the outcome of the election and order a fresh poll.

Owuru who secured a total of 1,663 in the presidential election, insisted that the election was not conducted in compliance with the Electoral Act.

Meantime, President Buhari, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, persuaded the tribunal to grant a short adjournment to enable them respond to the motion.

Consequently, the Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa led tribunal which is conducting its proceedings at the Court of Appeal Headquarters in Abuja, adjourned the the case till May 22 for hearing.

Chilling story of how three UNIABUJA fresh students watched their friend drown because ''his father is rich and he was the toast of many girls''

Facebook user, Mystic Biu, has shared the shocking story of how three University of Abuja freshmen watched their friend, 17-year-old Emmanuel Aigbokhalode Balogun drown at the Dome Hotel pool because he was always doing ''shakara'' and all the girls in their school were flocking around him alone.

Read the chilling story below

TRUE LIFE STORY

We live in a very trying and perilous times. A very dear friends undergraduate's 17yr old son got drowned at the Dome hotel pool in abuja last weekend. He was in the company of his friends. The friends didn't report to the hotel mgt what happened nor to the deceased's (Emmanuel Balogun) parents. They went back to the school (Uni Abuja) hostel immediately after the incident.

On Monday a young girl from uni abuja called the mother of the deceased that they did not see Emmanuel her son in class. She went further to tell the parents it's like something has happened to Emma and ended the call. The mother called back the line but it was switched off. She notified her husband & they immediately placed a call to their sons number and it was off. They drove that Monday night to their sons hostel but met his absence. They now got information that a party was thrown for fresh year students over the weekend at the Dome hotel in town. They set forth for the hotel. The hotel mgt told them there was a case of drowning in their hotel over the when'd & directed them to the police.

The police now led them to the mortuary, lo & behold it was their son. Yesterday morning, myself & the deceased uncle went to the police to see the CCTV footage of what transpired @ the hotel. What I saw and later heard yesterday was unbelievable. From the CCTV, we noticed the deceased entered the pool with 3 of his friends and around 3.33am he started struggling in the pool.

His friends where all watching him until he stopped struggling and drowned. They all left the pool immediately and one took his handset the other took his trouser and brought out the money inside the pocket and wore his shoes. They left the hotel around 4.18am according to the footage we saw. The police went to the school & effected the arrest of the trio and mgt of the hotel.

At the DIG's office yesterday afternoon, I heard something that has being giving me cold shivers all through yesterday and right now. One of the boys said that he wanted to raise an alarm to save the boy but the other two boys asked him not to. That the deceased is always doing shakara because his father his rich, he went further to say that the other one said all the girls are always admiring the deceased so he should let him be joor. This are just mere 17/18yr old boys ??‍?.

Watching the CCTV footage where the friends were watching him drown and collectively decided, cos there was a time they grouped together to discuss for about a minute & from the confession of one of them is not only traumatic for me but also disheartening. They watched their "Friend" die out of jealousy & envy ?. According to them, it was the deceased that paid 2k each gate fee for them and also bought fish and juice which they all drank. This are mere teenagers with that kind of heart.

My people, be extra careful for people you call your friends. According to the DIG, A lot of people are being murdered daily cos of envy from friends. No doubt, There are good and wonderful friends but also, know ye, there are also friend-enemy everywhere. So be extra careful and prayerful cos the love of many has really waxed cold. ??. The young man was buried today amid tears ? according to the wishes of his parents but his wicked friends & hotel mgt are still in police custody at the force headquarters as we speak. May none of us bury any of our children or young ones in Jesus name. Amen.

Beware of jealous & Envious friends they are more lethal and toxic than acid.
