Aba resident passes through dry gutter following heavy rain that flooded roads but left the drainage dry

The irony in Aba, according to a resident, is that when it rains, the roads get flooded but the drains stay dry.

A resident was pictured walking inside the gutter after it rained because the street was badly flooded so the gutter became the best alternative.

Governor Yahaya Bello's Daughter Poison Her Teacher

A grade nine (9) pupil of American International School, Abuja by the name Hauwa Yahaya Bello, daughter of Kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello has poison her school teacher.

Sources at the American International School, Abuja confided in our reporter that this incident happened last month and Hauwa Yahaya Bello was immediately expelled from the school based on the school policy.

What was however surprising to both the school teachers and students is the reinstatement of Hauwa Yahaya Bello by the school board.

This source a member of staff who does not want his name mentioned said Governor Yahaya Bello put serious pressure and threat on the school board to reinstate his daughter or else he will burn down the school.

According to the source, the board succumbed the Yahaya Bello's threat and reinstate the governor's daughter who has now resumed school with other pupils.

"As I speak with you, teachers are very angry, disgusted and surprised by the boards decision as they believe this will not only undermine teachers authority but shows lack of respect for both teachers and students well-being"

We can also confirm that parents of some of the students has also decided to take this up with the school management as they believe such a student should not be allowed to mingle with their children and is either they expelled her or they withdraw their children from the school before she poison their children.

The heartbreaking video of a Nigerian dad, Agoboye Francis Monday, weeping by the roadside with his sick child who has a heart problem has surfaced online. In the video, the distraught father who sat in front of the Rivers state government house said he has been to so many places including churches for help but nothing tangible has come out from them.

According to Mr Agoboye, his son, Beniah has many holes in his heart and needs about N15 million for a surgery. He said he has spent all his life savings on his child and needs assistance from well meaning Nigerians.



On Thursday January 24th, he took his child to the Rivers state government house to see if he could by chance see governor Nyesom Wike, but the security officers chased him away. Mr Agoboye shared photos of an appeal he wrote to the state government for help but up till now, there was no response.

I haven’t been touched deeply or emotionally like the way I was on Thursday January 24th Jan 2019, driving through the front of Gov’t house gate I saw a neatly dressed young man been beaten and pushed around by the Gov’t house police,

At first I thought he was a criminal or an imposter who was trying to gain access into the premises illegally but then I was shocked what I discovered when I took a closer look at the young man.

I noticed that the young man was carrying a baby that was barely alive and gasping for breath, I became curious and triggered to seek more information.

I also found out that the young man being beaten was the father who was only trying out the last resort to save the life of his child. He came to the gov’t house gate just to see if providence will smile on him just like the man at the beautiful gate so that he could get assistance from the Governor peradventure he leaves or gets into the premises.

This sad event wouldn’t have happened if not for the poor manner the security agents choose to despatch their acclaimed duty by choosing to be ruthless and further act as though he was a prime enemy of the state.

The young man had no other means to reach the Governor as he has on several occasions written letters appealing for any form of assistance that could aid him to preserve the life of his baby.

Making an attempt to salvage the situation I then walked right across the road in an attempt to pick him up and he sighted me and broke out in a loud cry calling to God. He was solely all about saving the child because he cried to help save his son because that was all he had.

This broke me; I didn’t even know when I broke into tears with him right in the middle of the road in from of the Rivers state gov’t house.

I offered to reach out to him and saw the child who had barely 2months to live if a heart surgery is not performed urgently and it has to be done abroad and the time was fast ticking.
Now the painful part of this whole issue is that…

The young man is from Okrika LGA in Rivers State. But what happened to the Rivers State Health Care programs?
What has the ministry & Commissioner for Health done because he said he has written, met and even pleaded with him for help yet to no avail.

He has done all he could to draw the attention of the government to the predicament his little child is facing but it all fell on deaf ears because the baby is a child of a poor man who has no say or connection in the society.

Little Beniah has multiple holes in his heart from birth and this has put his life on the brink, he needs a replacement surgery oversea at the cost of 15 million naira, but if we can show some humanity by using the little we have to save the life of this little baby, then we have made this world a better place for this little boy and his family and it is not insurmountable if we try,

Senate to reconvene on Tuesday January 29th over Onnoghen’s suspension

The Senate will be reconvening on Tuesday January 29th to deliberate on the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen.

The Lawmakers on Thursday January 24th, adjourned sitting until February 19th, after the Presidential and National Assembly elections but have now taken the decision to reconvene to deliberate on Onnoghen's suspension. It was expected that Presidnet Buhari would have sought the advice of the National Assembly before suspending Onnoghen.

The National Assembly leadership will also be meeting tomorrow January 27th to discuss before reconvening.

Well, some years back my big sis met this guy and they fell inlove,they dated for over 7 solid years,but his parents were against their Union.The mother,father and his elder sister in particular hated her with passion. Despite the fact that she loves, respects and showers them with gifts.

His father's reason (according to his son) was that, he can't marry an Imo lady an educated one at that.
His mother's reason was that she wanted a very light skinned lady for her son.While his sister's reason was that she was too pretty to make a good wife for her brother (stating that pretty ladies cheat)

We tried all we could to separate them including involving the police, but all to no avail, he vowed that he'd rather die than break up with her and so did my sister. Meanwhile, while they were still dating, sometimes his parents come to my sister's abode and beat her up warning her to stay away from their son. And she kept it all away from us(Her family).

Along the line she took in and had a son for him. Yet his parents vowed and said over their dead bodies would they ever consent to their union. Five years later,his family finally came to us pleading and saying that they have agreed that  their son should finally tie the nut with my sister. But I refused,likewise my mom and my siblings.

I told them that after several years of hatred on the poor girl, why the sudden change? What prompted that sudden love for her? Is it cuz she now has a son for their son?

But my dad after several consideration thought it was wise for her to accept him,that being a single mom would bring down her dignity and prestige before her fellow women in the society someday, even if she's capable of taking care of her child alone.

That was it,the traditional marriage was held on the 20th Feb 2012 in my hometown.She followed her in-laws home that same day(As tradition demands). About a week with them in their home in Oba Anambra state,they brought her home very sick.

A week later she passed on in Usman Danfodio Teaching Hospital Sokoto state(UDUTH).After the doctors discovered she had food poisoning which was meant to kill her slowly.
She died right in my arms in the hospital,after vomiting so much blood.

About three years later,his parents got him another woman from their home town who unfortunately has now become a torn in their flesh. And also maltreats my little nephew so much that it always makes me cry. 😭😭😭
Not only that, She also engages her so called in-laws in physical combat,and recently her father in-law passed on mysteriously.

So my dear,there's more to marriage than just you and your spouse. The both families have to appreciate,love and give their consent otherwise you might not find peace in that home, that's if you don't end up loosing your precious life along the line. Like my sis.

Nigerian doctor narrates how a child's heart stopped after a quack doctor injected into the child's veins drugs that were meant to be injected in the buttocks

A Nigerian doctor has warned members of the public to be careful who they go to meet for treatment whenever they are sick.

He narrated how a child's heart stopped and took two hours to restart due to a quack doctor's mistake.

Doctor Nonso tweeted:

Stop allowing quacks treat you.

A "chemist" injected a child with antibiotic mixed with lidocaine meant for the buttocks into the veins

Lidocaine went straight to the heart and stopped it!

Rushed child to hospital, it took us almost 2 hours to get his heart beating again

Family war escalate into panic in Ozubulu.

According to the information gathered at Akwa in Eziora  Ozubulu today is that some security men of OVS ( ozubulu vigilante group ) killed a guy due to family problem.

According to the source, two brothers were having a misunderstanding yesterday , they were later reconciled by their kinsmen. Then by 2am the ozubulu vigilante group landed at the deceased separate compound who was a student in army school in the North but just returned home for a visit.

It was gathered that the OVS was called into a family dispute and one of them shot the guy 3 times and he on the way to the hospital

Speed Darlington has shared photos of a naked female companion then went on to body-shame her as he asked Instagram users not to report the photo.

Speed covered the lady's nipples before sharing the photo then mentioned that her private parts weren't showing therefore the post shouldn't be taken down. Woman gets drugged and raped in a club packed full with revelers and no one paid attention as she called for help (+18 video)

An Atlanta woman is believed to have been raped in a nightclub and the video was circulated on Facebook.

The unnamed woman was partying at Opera nightclub in Atlanta when the incident took place. She was livestreaming herself dancing at the club when the man began raping her as her Facebook friends watched.

According to reports, the woman's drink was drugged with a particular drug, called ketamine, which social media users say men are now in the habit of using to spike women's drinks so as to rape them.

In the Facebook live video, a man can be seen having sex with the woman from behind, while the woman, who seemed inebriated, kept saying "help me" and "stop". Though the club was packed full as the woman screamed, no one came to her rescue.

The video is going viral online and has led to heated debates. Some say it was clearly rape. They also added that a drunk woman can't give consent. But some say it wasn't rape because there were lots of people in the club and there's no way everyone there would have ignored her cry for help if she was really getting raped.

Some social media users have gone to dig out the Instagram account of the man who allegedly raped her and 4 more women have come out to say that the guy did the same thing to them. They claim they recognize him with the jewellery he wore in the video. The man is a 24-year-old Ex Navy military, according to social media users.

Responding to the incident, the Atlanta Police Department released the following statement:

Early Sunday morning, APD began receiving calls about a Facebook Live video that appears to show a woman being sexually assaulted in a local nightclub. Our Special Victims Unit made contact with the victim today, and an investigation into the matter has been opened. The investigation continues.

Opera nightclub also reacted to the incident. They released a statement which reads:

The disturbing matter that occured last night has been brought to our attention, and we are working as diligently as possible in full cooperation with local law enforcement.

Married woman cries out in pain as she gets stuck with her lover during sex

A married woman and her lover got stuck in each other while having sex, after her husband, who has been suspecting her of infidelity, sought the services of a native doctor.

According to online reports, the incident occurred at a community in Kenya.

The video was shared by a Facebook user, Karani Tonny, who wrote: 'Ladies n gentlemen lets change our attitude yenye imefanyika mbale it's only God knows n awasame.'

In the viral video, the woman was crying out in pain while the native doctor could be seen carrying out some rituals to separate the pair who were entangled in bed.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office, today  arraigned Ajibade Wasiu Oladotun, pictured above, before Justice M.A. Onyetenu of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State on a three-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and possession of false document.

A statement from the anti-graft agency says one of the counts reads:

“That you, Ajibade Wasiu Oladotun sometimes in the month of March 2017, at Ile-Ife in Osun State, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, did obtain by false pretence the sum of $2,300 (Two Thousand Three Hundred Dollars) from one Chris Odom who resides in the United States of America, under the pretence that you are a woman named Lola Parker, ready to marry him and that the money was to be part of the air ticket from KLM flight from Lagos, Nigeria to Seattle in the United States of America, which you knew to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1 (1) & (2) and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006”.

Oladotun pleaded “not guilty” to the charges.

Prosecuting counsel, Adeola Elumaro, thereafter, applied for a trial date and for the defendant to be remanded in prison custody.

However, counsel for the defendant, Babafemi Iyiola, moved his bail application.

Justice Onyetenu granted the defendant bail in the sum of N20 million and two sureties in like sum, one of whom must be a civil servant not below grade level 14.

The case has been adjourned to February 26, 2019 for trial, and the defendant remanded in prison custody pending when he meets the bail conditions.
