A mother abandoned her day old child  in a motor park  (Photos) 


A day-old baby has been found and rescued after the guardian left the baby on the roadside in Rivers State.

The sad story was shared on Facebook by Steven Ken Damola. The baby is seen wrapped in a pink and blue fluffy blanket sleeping and according to Damola, the newborn was spotted in front of Mile 3 motor park in Port-harcourt.

Damola wrote: "this baby said to be a day old was found after abandoned in front of Mile 3 Park in Port Harcourt early this Sunday morning."
